SK-II Boutique Spa by Senze Salus Flagship Outlet @ Shaw Centre

It was my first time visiting SK-II Boutique Spa by Senze Salus, it was at the newly refurbished Shaw Centre located at the urban hotspot, Orchard Road.

For the past ten years, Senze Salus was actually housed in one of the black-and-white bungalows along Scotts Road. Now with a bigger, more modern premises, Senze Salus could bring SK-II experience closer to their customers and continue to provide the miracle of SK-II in the private sanctuary of a spa with elegant contemporary décor and a host of value added amenities.

Upon entering the boutique spa, I was greeted by a spacious SK-II beauty bar at the lounge area with various SK-II products which were available for guests' sampling.

Looking out from inside the lounge area, I could see the main corridor through the clear glass windows and entrance which made the whole place look even wider and spacious. ^-^

Ladies playing the Japanese Koto (Gu Zheng). The sound coming out from the koto is soooo crisp and clear. I really liked the music they played, the sound came out so perfect that I thought it was played from the CD. ^_^

On the other side of the lounge area, placed several portraits of Senze Salus' regular customers.

An interesting concept of showing photos of their customers at their opening. Perhaps you would get to see one of them when you visit the spa. ^_^

After looking around the lounge area, I was invited to enter the private consultation room where the consultant would use the latest SK-II Skin Analysis Tool on me.

This wasn't my first time doing the skin analysis test. But no harm doing it again so that I could see how's my skin been doing lately, which... I kinda already knew that it's not doing really well because I'd been hit by another round of skin rash (red inflammation with white pus). ^^"

Anyhoo, here's the result of the test.

Like I'd predicted, it's not as good as the previous time but still ok since I'm older than 30.... *shys* (//^,^//)  The texture % is lower than the rest mainly because of the skin rash.

The consultant said that customers who came here for treatments would have their skin analysis done twice, once before and once after the treatment, without the makeup of course. ^-^

After the skin analysis, I was introduced to view the remaining rooms. Near to the consultation room is the vanity room with 2 powder stations equipped with hair dryers and complimentary base make-up.

How awesome is this?! ^_^ Not many spa would provide make up in their vanity room for customers to use before leaving.

There are a total of 12 treatment rooms equipped with the guests’ favorite Senzational Beds. And here's one room which has natural sunlight coming in from behind the blinds.

Next, I'd was ushered to get a hand treatment done in one of the treatment rooms.

 

Hand massage treatment was done using the geranium palmarosa rose otto oil.

Therapist applied and massaged the oil on both of my very dry arms and I really enjoyed the quick hand massage session. After that, my hands felt really soft and didn't feel greasy at all. I had a great time talking to her as well, Senze Salus staff are really courteous and nice to chat with. ^_^ Thank you for the 5-star service!
