5 Things to Stock Your Fridge Up With During the Football Season
Thought of stocking your fridge with food during the football season? Don’t let the it be an excuse to load up on junk and other unhealthy snacks. Here are some great alternatives that you can consider serving up on game day:
1. Microwaved Popcorn
This delicious snack is not only low in calories, but it’s incredibly easy to make as well. Prepare a bowl of this and get ready to snack guilt free infront of your screen. My own favourites are a mixture of sweet & salted popcorns! Yum~
2. Baked Sweet Potato Fries
One of my favorite alternatives to fries are bakedsweet potato! This superfood tastes great on its own and takes less than 30min to leave the kitchen. Simply chop up the sweet potato into your desired length, bake, scatter salt and pepper for taste, and voila!
3.Salsa and Tortilla Chips
A quick hack to making a wholesome salsa dip is to buy a batch of chunky salsa, and then making it even heartier by adding in more fresh ingredients like chopped fresh tomatoes, onions and chilies. Don’t forget the corn chips too – salsa is only complete with you dip some tortilla chips in and savour the chunky sauce with crunchy chips.
4. BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken
As an all-natural health food supplement, BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken can help reduce stress levels and contribute to a relaxed mood. It also increases mental concentration, improves short-term memory and immunity, alleviates task-induced stress, increases metabolic rate, and boost energy. Perfect as a pick-me-up and vitality booster in this season of late nights!
5. Guacamole
A classic party must-have, guacamole tops the list with all the healthy goodness from avocadoes, peppers and tomatoes! Almost all the fat in avocado is unsaturated so that’s one big worry you can cross off. Boost your veggie intake and get healthy with this yummy treat. To be frank, I only just learnt to eat guacamole when +everblue c made it for me. So how about another guacamole session eh? ^,~
