Product Review: New Biore Skin Caring Cleanser Foacial Foam SCRUB & EXTRA MOIST

Weeks ago, I started using the new & improved Biore Skin Caring Cleansers that were launched earlier this month by Kao Singapore. 

Among the 4 different types of facial foam, I chose the Extra Moist. Why do I choose Extra Moist for my combination skin? Later you'll find out. ^_^

When I flip open the caps, I can smell floral fragrance in both products.

When I spread them out, it felt like spreading a creamy marshmallow-like paste.

Biore Facial Foam Scrub Review
This is the amount I use for the scrub. I had used double the amount of this once but I find that the foam is too much, much more than I can feel the scrub beads, With this little amount, I can then feel the beads doing their scrubbing thing on my skin. ^_^

- I use this after using the facial foam
- foams up easily when lather on wet hands
- feels like facial foam with little and ultra fine scrub beads

- when scrubbing, it feels very soft and gentle on face and almost can't feel there is any scrub beads at all
- doesn't sting my eyes
- skin feels clean and soft after cleansing off
- after drying the face, skin feels tiny bit tight at the jaw and area around eyes
- I use this every 2-3 days and skin doesn't feel over-scrubbed

- the skin feels slightly dry if I use this daily
- doesn't irritate my skin
- it is good purifying scrub (oil control)
- it doesn't remove much dead skin cells as my face doesn't brighten up






Biore Facial Foam Extra Moist Review
Even though I have combination skin (oily at T-zone), I still prefer to use slightly more moisturising facial foams nowadays. I feel that by doing so helps in maintaining the oil secretion at my T-zone areas. They don't produce as much sebum when they are hydrated. Also, my jawline, cheeks and eyes area feels tight & dry after face wash, so an extra moist facial foam will make my skin feel less tight after every wash.
For facial foams, I like to use a lot more amount (see below pic) as I will remove my makeup almost every night. I use this much to cleanse off all the dirt and left over oil-cleanser on my face.
I will use ½ to 1/3 of this amount for morning face wash.

- foams up easily when lather with water
- foam feels thick, creamy and soft
- soft and gentle on face
- doesn't sting my eyes
- cleanses off dirt and makeup remover/oil cleansers thoroughly from face
- after drying face, area around eyes feels tiny bit dry
- doesn't irritate my skin
- skin feels smooth, soft and less dry


Overall review
There are still a few white heads found growing on my face but they are gone after a day or two. There wasn't other skin problems found when using the products except for 1 inflammation on the cheek. The facial foam cleanses pretty well leaving skin feels pretty squeaky clean.
I usually exfoliate my face on a weekly basis or sometimes once every 4-5 days and its done after face wash. With the gentle Biore Scrub I can do it every 2-3 days, also done after using the facial foam.
As the Biore Scrub is quite foamy, I feel like I am washing my face twice with facial foam. It makes my skin feels pretty dry if I keep doing it. Subsequently, I change to using the scrub every 4-5 days like I used to.
In compare to Biore's facial foam that I used many years ago (I couldn't remember how long ago.. lolx~), this skin caring facial foam series is a lot better as I could clearly remember that I used to dislike the eyes stinging facial foam and the overly dry and tight feeling it gave me.
