My day starts with BOSS JOUR Pour Femme launch at Ion Sky where the sunlight pours in from all directions and everyone dressed in bright & white elegant outfit. Everything suddenly seem so clean to my eyes.
Well, that's what the new fragrance from Hugo Boss is all about - 'the first light of day'.
Inspired by the first light of day, BOSS JOUR Pour Femme (meaning 'BOSS DAY for women') is using this unique moment to inspire women to seize all of their opportunities and create their very own stories, every day.
Simple and fresh interior. I'd never seen this place looking so clean and new.

BOSS NUIT has a rather distinct musk note. After comparing both Jour & Nuit (Day & Night), I prefer BOSS JOUR as I like one that is more light & sweet yet significant at the same time.

Simple, clean cut, white, white gold & gold packaging.
Back of the box packaging shows the full list of ingredients. Perfume can be kept for 36months from the first use.
The milky white flacon is ever so elegant that I can't resist myself from taking more pictures of it. ^_^
The multifaceted acrylic cap is beautiful. Irregular reflections caught bouncing off from all sides.
What's within is all coated in gold, my favourite colour... or rather, favourite element. ^-^
The cap fits on perfectly with a squeak (literally). It doesn't matter which way I cap it, it still fits well. As the cap to the bottle is made with a close measurement, it is sometimes a little bit tight.
Review
BOSS JOUR eau de parfum starts off with a bright zesty citrus mixed with only a tiny bit of alcohol in it, which is good as I often get strong alcohol scent in the opening note of many other perfumes. It quickly turns a little aquatic which reminds me of a refreshing morning face wash.
The white birch and amber mix completely well with freesia and lily as I get a creamy rich floral with a blend of earthy and powdery scent all at the same time. Totally loving the heart note! It smells like dry clothes under the sun, crisp yet clean and soft.
When it settles down, it transforms to a beautiful, subtle and gentle flowery-powdery-musky scent, again altogether at the same time.
The drydown for me is more woody, powdery and a bit sweet.
When I had the fragrance blotter sprayed with BOSS JOUR at the event, I kept it in my wallet for days and when I zip it open, the scent drifts in the air and that makes me happy. I took out the blotter every now and then and forcing my man to smell it (hahax~). At one time I even got addicted to the scent which had me constantly thinking of the perfume that's sitting at home while I was outside.
I like the perfume as it brings out the femininity side of me (not that I don't have... just lacking a little perhaps. Lolx~) makes me feel classy, confident and composed. It stays close to my skin and is not overpowering thus it's unoffensive to other people even when I overspray at times.
Now, let me end this post with the 3 of us (Kas, me & Shirleen)! ^_^ I duno why they wana hide behind my giant body... makes me look even taller that way. Lolx~
