Details & Swatches: BioNike Defence Elixage

In this post, I will be listing out all products under Defence Elixage and providing direction of use and swatches. However the detailed product photos & swatches will only be limited to the following 3 products as these are the ones I received from BioNike:
- Defence Elixage Elixir Regenerating Fluid
- Defence Elixage Satin Regenerating Cream
- Defence Elixage  Contour Eye-Lip Balm

BioNike Defence
A comprehensive line of treatments designed to protect and defend skin, even the most sensitive. All DEFENCE products are highly tolerable on skin and are based on BioNike's Allergen-free Formulation Philosophy, which means NO Preservatives, Perfume and Gluten, and also *Nickel Tested products

BioNike Defence Elixage Elixir Regenerating Fluid
With a silky, skin-embracing texture, it is a true concentrate of vital energy based on Subli-F.A.C.E. - a well-balanced and functional blend of biotechnological active ingredients, stabilized vitamins and potent anti-oxidants, which stimulates the natural production of structural skin components, promotes natural skin regeneration and strengthens its defence mechanisms. Day after day, skin appears smoother and more compact, expression lines are softened and the face is left radiantly alive. Excellent used combined with the other creams in the range for even better results.
Recommended for: Intensive treatment for all skin types to counter ageing signs. 

Packaging & Ingredients
All Defence Elixage packaging design are consistent. Silver packaging box and silver chrome coated bottle & jars. Regenerating Fluid can be kept for 12 months starting from the first pump. Refer to bottom of the packaging box for the expire date (not shown here).

I shouldn't hold the product in my hands cos the chrome exterior basically mirrors its surroundings and made this picture badly taken..lolx~ The bottle feels quite heavy as the material used to make this bottle is glass.

Despite all Defence Elixage containers are silver chrome coated, the cap of Elixir Fluid is the only one made with transparent plastic without coating.

The pump is designed in such a way that there is a dented area on top so our index finger fits snugly over it. It prevents our (wet/greasy) finger from slipping off when pressing on it.

How to use

Apply morning and night on perfectly cleansed face, neck and décolletage.
Apply in circular motion and upwards from the base of the neck to the chin.
On the face, gently slide your fingers outwards with repeated movements from the chin to the cheeks, then from the corners of the mouth to the cheekbones and finally, from the centre of the nose to the temples. (refer to illustration 1 below)

BioNike Defence Elixage Satin Regenerating Cream
With an ultra-sensorial, light and satin texture, it is based on the exclusive Subli-F.A.C.E ingredient complex, that combines biotechnologically developed polysaccharides with vitamin factors and potent plant antioxidant agents to provide a triple anti-ageing effect: promote skin’s natural regeneration mechanism, enhance repair processes and counter damage from free radicals. Skin is left toned, smoother, radiantly alive and appears as regenerated: wrinkles are softened and facial features are more defined.
Recommended for: an Intensive anti-ageing treatment suiting normal and combination skin, in combination with the Elixir fluid for enhanced results.

Packaging & Ingredients
Regenerating Cream has a shorter lifespan of 6 months upon opening as it is in a jar form.

Expires on Jan 2017 if left unopened and kept in normal room temperature.

Regenerating Cream comes with a plastic spatula so as not to contaminate the product when scooping it out from the jar. The jar is like the rest, made with glass which is heavy and has silver chrome coat. When I hold this jar in my hands, it felt like I'm holding a rock. Lolx~

Bottom of the jar also indicates the expire date.

How to use
Apply morning and night on perfectly cleansed face, neck and décolletage.

BioNike Defence Elixage Contour Eye-Lip Balm
Specific product to nourish the delicate, thin eye and lip contour areas. Provides an immediately perceived filler effect. The exclusive Subli-F.A.C.E ingredient complex works on all ageing signs, leaving skin toned and supple.
Recommended for: Intensive treatment suitable for ageing skin that appears dull and clearly shows skin sagging and wrinkles.

Packaging & Ingredients
Eye-Lip Balm like the Regenerating Cream, also has only 6 months of lifespan upon opening.

Expires in Jan 2016 if unopened.

Looks identical to the Regenerating Cream, only smaller in size. Also comes with a spatula.

How to use
Take a small amount with the scoop provided.
Apply morning and night on eye and lip contour areas by dabbing gently.
Follow application method shown in figure 2 & 3 below.

BioNike Defence Elixage Velours Nutri-Regenerating Cream

With a rich and velvety texture, it enhances skin's own regeneration and self-repair ability and counters damage from free radicals. The formula is based on the exclusive complex Subli-F.A.C.E., a perfectly balanced blend of biotechnological active ingredients, a concentrate of skin-strengthening vitamin factors and plant antioxidants. Selected lipid ingredients provide instant and long-lasting comfort even to very dry and aged skin. Skin is left smooth, toned and radiant and appears as regenerated: wrinkles are softened and facial features are more defined.

Recommended for: an intensive anti-ageing treatment with a rich and velvety texture, ideal for dry skin. Excellent combined with the Elixir fluid to enhance the effects.

BioNike Defence Elixage Intense Anti-Ageing Mask
Ultra-creamy formula enriched with precious dermo-protective oils and based on the exclusive Subli-F.A.C.E. complex, having skin energising and revitalising properties, and fruit-derived plant extracts, providing strong moisturisation and radiance. Gives an immediate feeling of comfort, with skin feeling smoother and firmer. Fine lines are attenuated and face is left with a healthy glow.
Recommended for: helping all skin types, even very dry, relax and get a true treat.

How to use
Apply 2 or 3 times a week to perfectly cleansed face, neck and décolletage.
Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, then gently remove any residue with a tissue.


BioNike Defence Elixage Food Supplement
The literature provides a great deal of evidence showing that one of the main factors involved in ageing is the progressive imbalance between the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and physiological anti-oxidant defences. In fact, as we age, there is a decrease in the total antioxidant capacity (TAC), resulting in the alteration of cellular reduction-oxidation balance.
Proper food supplementation, particularly in the population aged over 40, can effectively improve the total antioxidant capacity of an individual and therefore counter one of the major factors involved in the ageing process.
Recommended for: Potentiate the effect of the topical treatments (cream, serum) on mature, ageing skin; ideal taken in periods of particular stress.

How to use
A tablet a day taken after meals.



BioNike Defence Elixage Swatches
First up is the Defence Elixage Elixir Regenerating Fluid.
Its texture is like watery lotion, slightly translucent and has a slight odour (kinda like rubber) but not pungent.

The fluid is easy to spread out.

Though the pic doesn't show much, actually it leaves a slight sheen on my skin which then disappears after awhile. The fluid absorbs very fast by the skin leaving a smooth yet slightly sticky after-feel. The dry hand feels immediately hydrated and surface feels toned. Doesn't feel greasy on my hands and fingers at all.

Defence Elixage Satin Regenerating Cream has a lotion-cream consistency and spreads out very easily too. Even with only 1 small scoop using its spatula, this little amount can cover my whole arm and hand. It smells the same as the Elixir Fluid.

Regenerating Cream leaves my skin looking rather glossy, a little more shinier than Elixir Fluid. It too, feels smooth & silky yet little sticky when I run my fingers across. Skin surface has a firm & moisturized feel.

Defence Elixage Contour Eye-Lip Balm product look like Regenerating Cream only slightly thicker. All 3 Defence Elixage products I have smells pretty much the same.

Eye-Lip Balm has a medium thick cream consistency. It is harder to spread than the Regenerating Cream. This product gives most shine to my skin but it doesn't feel very greasy, just slightly. It feels sticky too right after application. When it gets fully absorbed into the skin, the surface feels rather smooth & toned.

Complimentary from BioNike
Apart from the products, I also receive a bag full of samples! This allows me to try out the other skincare lines from BioNike before purchasing them. Since I do not have sensitive skin (at least as of now... ^^"), I am looking into having my friends who have such skin types to try out BioNike as well~  Perhaps in future they'll fall in love with this brand. ^,^
