ILLAMASQUA Powder Blusher Duo - Lover & Hussy

Casing design is different from the usual Illamasqua Powder Blusher. This casing is BIGGER... HUGE!!

When I open it up, I was kinda disappointed to see the pan sooooo small!! Its width is like the width of my thumb size only! (ಥ_ಥ")

But what I love this that this palette has a BIG mirror.

Illamasqua Powder Blusher Duo Review
After using the Powder Blusher Duo, I'm really really really in love with Illamasqua blushes! Especially more of HUSSY!! over Lover.
Lover is for people with very fair to fair skin because I'm medium fair, towards Ochre/warm skin tone, so Lover doesn't show up much on my cheeks. It is kinda too soft for me, but I'm sure it would be nice for those who have fair skin! Once awhile I use lover when I do not want my blush to be too exaggerating or to catch too much attention (Like say, I go market buy food..? Lolx~). Either that, or when I put on bold eye and lip makeup so a nude blush like Lover is good for balancing the whole look.
HUSSY blush on the other hand is hot candy pink, VERY bold (to me..) and it's also on the warm side, therefore it look great on my warm skintone. One swipe on the blush and one TOUCH on my cheeks is like FUAH!!! SO RED! Not the RED red, but its pretty red-pink on my cheeks, I need to blend for awhile to tone it down alittle.
I use Hussy when I attend certain events such as fashion events or when I go out at night with friends because the blush is pretty bright & obvious unless I want everyone to look at my cheeks for that matter. Lolx~
I really love Illamasqua Powder Blusher for its intensity plus it last really long~ I don't even need to do any touch up and it stays and lasts the whole day without fading much. For Illamasqua Powder Blusher, there is no need to build colour intensity because its always so intense upon first swipe.

My 2nd Illamasqua purchase
I got yet another Blush from Illamasqua lately! The other 3 - Highlighter (Gleam) and 2xEyeshadows aren't mine, they belong to Na and Juliana~

ILLAMASQUA Powder Blusher - Unrequited
After pondering for a week, i finally decided getting the shade - Unrequited. I read that it is a warm pink Blusher too but its a soft one unlike Hussy. I want to opt for a soft shade type of pink so I could use it on my everyday 'Day' look. Hussy shall be my 'Night' blush friend. (>‿◠)✌

I like the transparent acrylic design on its casing, it makes the whole casing look so classy~

The blush is pretty BIGGGgg~ So lovely~ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ The width is about the width of my 4 fingers altogether.

Illamasqua Powder Blusher Duo - Lover & Hussy VS Illamasqua Powder Blusher - Unrequited
See the difference between the 2 blushers!~

Swatch: Illamasqua Powder Blusher - Lover & Hussy VS Unrequited
See how light Unrequited is against Hussy??
Although Unrequited is a soft baby pink shade, but it still looks pretty intense and bright when I brush it on my face. I thought that it might look too soft on my face but NOPE! Not at all!! (^,^)
1 swipe of Unrequited might look slightly soft and natural but 2 swipes of it will make it look pretty obvious on my cheeks.

I haven't taken any picture of my LOTD with Unrequited blush, probably will put up one the next time I post my LOTD/OOTD ^_^

Illamasqua Powder Blushers stains?!?!??!!?!!!
I only used normal dry tissue to wipe off the blushers, so don't be alarm yah? (─‿‿─)
Even for the lightest shade - Lover & Unrequited, they still stain my arm alittle. However, all these could be washed off easily by cleanser.

EXTRA EXTRA ILLAMASQUA~
I bought this Powder Eye Shadow for my bestie (Na)!!~ She shall show swatches of it soon (I guess) so go to her blog now to search for it~ ^_~ And also Illamasqua Highlighter (Gleam), she probably also be showing swatches of that!

In my first Illamasqua purchase, they gave a sample of their FREAK fragrance. I love this as well! Sadly they don't give anymore of these samples ever since they started selling the perfum.
