Launch: Clinique DDML+ (Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+)

Last month, Clinique launched a NEW version of DDML (Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion), namely Clinique DDML+. Easy to remember the new name eh? ^_^

About Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+

The news is dramatic.
Now for the first time one of the beauty industry’s most iconic moisturizers has been
dermatologist-reformulated to deliver even more dramatically different results...

50% improvement in moisture for
all day hydration; without an
extra drop of oil.
54% improvement in skin’s barrier strength
in 8 weeks; without changing the
famously silky texture.

Why does it matter?
Together, these two improvements help skin keep in the healthy essentials
and better resist environmental influences.

How it works

Things that never change in the new DDML+:
That iconic shade of yellow.
That silky texture.
That remarkably quick absorption.
That famous healthy glow.

Things that changed:
New barrier strengthening benefits.
Improved moisturizing technology.

The new Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ absorbs quickly and easily, leaving skin smooth, soft and perfectly prepared for additional concern driven treatment products. Or not. Many people find Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + just enough in itself.

Event
The launch was held at Buona Terra 29 Scotts Road.
Side note: I didn't include any pics of food here but all I can say is that their food served was super awesome. ^^ yum!

What's displayed on the table... from their previous DDML version to the new DDML+ and their dramatically different moisturizing gel.

Clarifying lotion for 4 different skin types.

A demonstration of the Clinique DDML+ being applied on one arm (after cleansing with clarifying lotion) and on another arm with no cleanse.

It is said that our skin sheds dead skin cells at every second therefore we need to remove these dead skin cells in order for the skin to absorb the moisturizer better. That is why when the DDML+ is spread out on the skin, it appear whitish because it's not been absorbed into our skin and it's been mixed with our dead skin cells (ewwww... lolx~)

The DDML+ in 125ml pump bottle.

How to use?
Clinique DDML+ is to be used after toner and before any other skincare like your daily day & night serum or moisturizer. It is like a moisturizing treatment that prepares & assist the skin to absorb other skin care better.

Complimentary from Clinique

I was provided with a Clinique DDML+ (50ml).

Packaging & Ingredients
Manufacturing Date, descriptions and ingredient list are printed on the box packaging.

This is for very dry (Skin type 1) to dry combination skin (Skin type 2). Product life span is 24months after opening.

Direction slip included inside the box.

A 50ml DDML+ is different from the 125ml, it is packaged in a tube instead of a pump bottle.

Swatch
Ok now here's my swatch on non-cleansed skin (on the right hand side of the back of my hand). I bet there are kazillion dead skin cells on my hand..hahahax~
When I spread out the DDML+, it didn't become as white as the one shown during the demonstration. However it do appear a little bit white and take sometime for it to be fully absorbed into my skin.
